Bombay 2 Beirut: Best Places To Eat Lebanese Food In Abuja

My Abuja people, there’s a new restaurant in town and I spent my Sunday evening exploring the space and food.

Here’s what you need to know, Bombay2beirut is a Lebanese Restaurant located in 4 Cape Town Street, Wuse Zone 4.

The ambience both indoor and outdoor is so classy! This restaurant also offers a rooftop view of Abuja’s Skyline

This restaurant is owned by Cilantro Group so you know what this means.

I had high expectations for this restaurant given that it is owned by Cilantro group and I wasn’t disappointed. Let’s break this down.

FOOD
We had mostly Lebanese dishes, this included:
Cheese Rolls N2,500
Fattoush N2,500
Fried Kibbeh N2,500
Falafel N2,500
Vegetarian Pizza N4,500
Shish Tawouk 4,500
Virgin Mojito N2,500
Mint Daiquiri N3,000

The food was amazing! The cheese rolls were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, the cheese was quite salty but I didn’t mind, it tasted even better when dipped into the chili sauce that was served with this dish! The Fattoush, which is basically a salad, was our favorite dish! The veggies were fresh! I especially loved the tangy dressing used.

The Fried Kibbeh was crunchy on the outside then soft inside! The flour and meat used were well balanced too! The falafel was a highlight, the spices used exceptional! When it first came it smelled like Akara which makes sense given that this is made from beans. For my Nigerians not familiar with this dish, it might be an acquired taste due to the spices but I recommend!

The Pizza was my least favorite, it just felt like it was missing something, maybe meat ?( hey I’m Nigerian). I loved the Shish Tawouk, the chicken was tender and the seasoning was just right, the slight Smokey barbecue taste too was a hit. Food came out in good time.

As for drinks I loved the mojito, the daiquiri was too sweet for me, I’m on the fence on this one.

SERVICE
I have to give it to this restaurant for their amazing attention to detail! I mean look at the way the food is served, the plates used! The attendants were polite too. No complaints at all on the service.

AMBIANCE
This restaurant offers both outdoor and indoor seating. The space is huge and screams class! The outdoor seating features two spots, both rooftop views of Abuja’s skyline. The view and outdoor area is especially beautiful at night!
