Pastry Corner, Hilton Abuja
PASTRY CORNER (Hilton):
I made a quick stop at this cafe while at the Hiltonabuja recently. The pastry spot had just reopened and I ordered:
Cafe Latte N1,500
Black Forest N3,500
Fresh Orange Juice Small N2,000
Everything tasted good. I especially loved the orange juice, wow! It tasted so fresh, it was thick and I loved that it had the orange pulp! It wasn’t too sweet either and it had just the right tarty taste. This is definitely a must-try. I also liked the sweetness of the Black Forest cake but wished the cake sponge was more moist.
The space is cute and simple, one can eat there or take away. However, to chill there as a non-guest you have to spend a minimum of N2,000, this made me smile but it’s totally understandable ?, don’t you think?
The prices in my option are fair for such a spot( it’s the Hilton ??♀️). Next time I stop by, I hope to try the croissant because it looked so good! I also heard that they have frozen ice cream, I didn’t get to try it then but hopefully next time.
Meanwhile I want to know, what’s your favorite pastry? I love a good Banana bread or cake with nuts ?
