Sinoni Chinese Restaurant, Abuja
SINONI CHINESE RESTAURANT:
A friend got a new job recently, I know exciting stuff! And we felt like having Chinese food to celebrate so while in Garki we decided to check out Sinoni.chinese.restaurant.
We ordered:
Chicken Curry N5,000
Special Fried Rice (x2) N2,500 each
Coke N300
Both dishes were good. The special fried rice was our favorite! This fried rice was definitely special as it was garnished with plenty beef, chicken, shrimp. It came with a spicy pepper sauce which I enjoyed! We absolutely loved the texture of the rice too! We thought to share one portion initially but it was so good that we ordered another, of course we couldn’t finished it easily. However as long throat would have it, I did the job of cleaning the plate ?, this was good! The chicken Curry was well seasoned too, I wish the portion was bigger though especially for the price but it was still worth it.
AMBIANCE
Loved the Chinese decor such as the lantern and Chinese writing seen on the walls. This restaurant was however too dark, it really needs more lighting. This is not a place to take pretty Instagram pictures ??♀️
SERVICE
Our waitress was great, she was very patient and welcoming. Food came out in good time too even when we asked for a second portion of fried rice, this came almost immediately. I also loved that they gave us a rack to hang our bags, this is rare and commendable. I found it interesting that we were served the glass bottle of coke though, this was odd for a place this fancy.
Overall, we loved the Chinese food we had here. I’d love to go back and try the Kung pao chicken, a family ordered this and it looked good! The prices are not inexpensive by the way, so come with money o. I remember seeing two spring rolls for N1,800 ?
