Stone Cafe Ibadan

STONE CAFE ?

Unfortunately, the food at Stonecafeibadan didn’t live up to the hype. We ordered a chicken shawarma which came with a side of fries & corn as well as a separate order for peppered chicken because we really just wanted to chill and enjoy the vibe.

The shawarma had too much cream and was quite a messy affair but the fries and corn were yummy so it was still good value for money. The peppered chicken however, was the worst i’ve ever had. It tasted soggy and stale and was dunked in a lot of pepper to hide the fact that it seemed to be going bad.

They also have an in-house rule where beers aren’t served on weekends so you either opt for cocktails/spirits
or juice which we settled for.

Btw, children aren’t allowed in after 7pm and the security guards literally checked us out from head to toe so i guess there’s an unspoken dress code. Wahala for who no get fine clothes o ?

Do i recommend? Idk, it was a 5/10 for me. You might be lucky enough to get better food & service on a different day so don’t knock it till you try it ??‍♀️
