Jakes Club Abuja
JAKES CLUB:
Jakesclubs is a rooftop restaurant and bar. It’s very classy! Once upon a time this spot was for members only but now it’s open to everyone! And it’s not as expensive as you’d think.
We loved the blue colour tone in the decor, the ceiling that mirrors a starry night and then the floors! The floors always give it away. It’s very spacious! Like there are so many seats!
We dropped by the other night and had something light since we just had dinner. Keep swiping for the menu and price point.
We had:
– Strawberry Daiquiri N2,500
This was okay, very sweet. Would have preferred a bit more tart with more lime juice.
– Crabi Shrimps Sushi N4,500.
We got four rolls of sushi! We really enjoyed this!
There’s seating indoor and outdoor on the rooftop terrace. It offers a nice view of Abuja at sunset but at night given how our city is lit, there’s not so much to see. It’s still nice to sit outside. However, if you’re a non-smoker this may not work for you. We sat indoors, it was cooler and less busy.
The service was mostly pleasant, it started out a little slow. It seemed the servers were initially occupied with the guests on the terrace.
Overall we had a great time! Jakesclubs is worth checking out. Be sure to dress well to match the space . You may walk in or reserve ahead.
