Calling all healthy food lovers, all my people trying to switch things up! Cleverkitchenng is a restaurant in Abuja that provides healthier alternatives to our favorite meals! They have an amazing Salad and Fruit Bar, meal plans, detox plans, juices and so much more!

Cleverkitchenng recently expanded their space to offer dining-in and I was invited to check it out! First of the space is so pretty! Love the wooden furniture, the floral decor and of course the impressive Salad and Fruit bar. This restaurant allows you to build your own salads starting from as low as N2,000, comes with unlimited toppings.

Loved the option of building ones salad, mine was served with two different dressings which worked great. The Bulgur Stir-fry and carrot cake were my top favorites. It was my first time having bulgur wheat after hearing about it for so long! It was delicious, very filling! The seasoning on the dish was one of Nigerian fried rice which totally worked. The chicken was also very tender and well glazed. Loved that it was served with fresh crunchy carrots.

Now the carrot cake, wow! Let’s call it a sweet mouth carrot cake, it had coconut, nuts, carrot, carrot juice. This was so filling too. It was hard to believe that this was made with whole wheat flour. You have to try it! As for the parfait, the fruits were fresh and yogurt very yummy and natural. I wish it had granola or more coconut flakes. Though I was told that this could come if requested. I also enjoyed the juice too, love the slight tart taste

The service was timely. I also met the owner and she was absolutely lovely! Talk about an amazing host! I love that she experiments with different dishes, who says healthy food has to be boring or bland.
