Aba is a city and the commercial center located in Abia State, southeastern Nigeria. Aba is home to one of the largest market in West Africa, the Ariaria International market, Aba has contributed immensely to the economy of Nigeria through its Textile, Pharmaceutical and brewery Industries.
The Abia state Government headed by His Excellency Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu in collaboration with the Abia State National Association of North America (ASNA-NA) will on Friday the 6th of October 2017 unvail the first ever international installment of Made In Aba fashion show at Hilton Hotel-JFK international airport in New York City.
The Made In Aba Fashion Show, which will be launched in New York City this week, will have the Deputy Govenror, Sir Udo Oko Chukwu, representing Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
The aim of this event is to showcase the Made In Aba brands and the creative designers behind them, the event is also aimed at making the Made In Aba brand a household name among fashion enthusiasts globally and to attract the required kind of investment to grow the the industry
Nine Aba designers whose designs will be showcased at the event are: ADIC Designs, Chumar, Fadamasi Concept, Kaluski Concept, Norax Pebbles, Shoe Planet, TOSKyme Fashion House, and Tropical Fits by Eze.
