Bungalow Restaurant, Ikeja Lagos

Bungalow restaurant is a Mexican/Japanese restaurant that has two branches in Lagos; Victoria Island and Ikeja GRA. For this post, I will be reviewing the branch at Ikeja GRA.

The ambiance is quite cozy and relaxing, with different space areas with different chairs for the occasion. There are rooms with dark lights and some with natural lights so you have options. They also have a pub for nightlife. I love the idea of them having smoking areas if you want to eat indoors.

For customer service, I will rate them 8/10. Their staff are very friendly, my waitress was even cracking jokes with me🤣. My meals were right on time even earlier than I expected because I like taking my pictures while the kitchen is processing my meals, I’ve not even gone far in my pictures taking that my attention was called that my meals had been served.

For the meals, they are quite pricey although well prepared. My Bolognese spaghetti wasn’t spicy enough, in-fact there wasn’t sauce, I had to request for an extra sauce so I could eat it well. The fries and chicken weren’t bad too, the chicken was even bigger than expected.

The Chapman straw was so fat you can backwash or finish your drink at a go😭, I had to complain about it but I was told I wasn’t the only one that had complained that they had a lot in stock and can’t throw them away. They planned on changing it though after the stock finishes.

Overall it’s a nice place as they have improved from the last time I visited.
