African Crowned Eagle is a large bird of prey found in sub-Saharan Africa. The African Crowned Eagle is the most powerful and one of the biggest eagles in the world. Its preferred habitats are principally riparian woodlands and various forests.
It inhabits parts of Eastern, Central, and West Africa, in Southern Africa it is restricted to eastern areas. African Crowned Eagle mostly hunt monkeys and antelopes and it can weigh up to 6kgs and its wingspan ranges from 1.51-1.80m.
