Bulgaria Milk and Flesh Restaurant, Abuja

BULGARIA MILK & FLESH:

Abuja there’s a new spot in town! Bulgaria_mf is a very pretty restaurant in Wuse 2 that serves good food. I was invited to come check it out and from the ambiance, to the food, to the service, everything was very well done.

Food
Tagliatelle & Shrimps Pasta N5,500
Penne Allavodka & Shrimps N5,500
Bulgaria Special Shawarma N4,000
Bulgaria Special Rice N2,000 (side dish)
Smoked Chicken Coconut Rice N2,000 (side dish)

The Tagliatelle aka Alfredo pasta was my absolute favorite! I really liked the choice of cheese. It was well seasoned too. Another favorite was the Bulgaria special fried rice, the texture of the rice was great and I loved the slight Asian feel to the dish. Now I found the idea of the vodka pasta very interesting, however I wasn’t a huge fan of the aftertaste of the vodka but everyone else loved the pasta.

I also loved the shawarma, this is definitely not our typical Nigerian sharwarma. It reminded me of a Philadelphia sandwich. The sauce was rich and the chicken very plenty. I only wish that it was wrapped tighter as it was a bit hard to eat. The wait time for food could be a bit faster though, but it’s a new spot so we’ll give them grace on this.

Drinks
Sidoni Mix Smoothie N2,500
Strawberry Daiquiri N3,000 (cocktail)
Sweet & sexy N2,000 (mocktail)

I had the Siponi Mix Smoothie and it was absolutely amazing, it was milky, thick, very rich and filling. It reminded me of a blueberry smoothie. I definitely recommend! I also loved the ginger and lemon tea, if you’re a tea lover, you have to try this! Be sure you ask them to exclude the garlic in the tea, if like me, you don’t enjoy garlic in your tea.

The attendants were very pleasant, they had such a warm and welcoming vibe.

Bulgaria_mf has seating indoor and outdoor. The outdoor area has a lounge vibe while the indoor area gives off this cafe vibe with the books and floral wall

All in all Bulgaria_mf is off to a great start. To think that they are running a soft opening. They will officialy open on the 23rd of this month

LOCATION: 8b Dar Es Salam Street Wuse 2, opposite FIRS
