Ifeanyi Chukwu Restaurant, Abuja

IFEANYI CHUKWU RESTAURANT:

So some of us on See Abuja have been craving for abacha lately. We were in Banex today and thought to finally stop by this Bukka restaurant that always catches our eye each time we’re in the area.

You really can’t miss this restaurant, they are located within New Banex. The red sign is so eye catching. Upon walking into the restaurant, the first thing that struck us was the way customers were swallowing and gulping their food 😂. This assured us that the food here must make sense, plus their Igbo name further gave us hope especially since we wanted abacha. So we had their abacha N1,500

Service time was quite slow but the wait was worth it! The abacha was tasty. The spices so evident! It was served with pieces of soft cow pkomo and a small fish.

They also sell Nigerian soups and swallow here. Based on the customer’s orders that we observed, the vegetable soup seems to be a best-seller.

Now in typical Bukka style, this spot is not the most hygienic place but the abacha that we had eh, we’re already making plans to go back.

LOCATION: within New Banex Plaza Wuse 2

Meanwhile what’s your go-to abacha spot?
