Kooks Diner, Asokoro Abuja

I first spotted this place early this year and it caught my attention because it was as if it popped up from nowhere ?. Located right in front of H-Medix Asokoro, what especially got me intrigued was the chairs, the placement and again how often do we see such restaurants out in the open?

MENU
I was in the area yesterday and finally stopped by Kook.diner. This restaurant serves shawarma, pizza and grilled food, among other options. Prices are standard and menu options what you’d find in most restaurants.

FOOD
We ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich N2,000
With fries N500
Bought chivita juice N200 from H-Medix

The sandwich was delicious! Well seasoned, sweet with the barbecue sauce evident and even better, the beef was tender! The fries were crispy and really good!

SERVICE
The attendant was very pleasant. However food came out quite slow, perhaps because it was early ??‍♀️

AMBIANCE
We visited in the morning and actually dined there. I quite liked it, sitting out in the open, munching and observing people and cars moving.

This location is not ideal for dining in the afternoon, what with the heat and the fact that it’s out in the open. But imagine this place in the late evening, a vibe don’t you think? You can also order take out, I’m not sure if they deliver.

Kook.diner is open from 9am to 11:30pm daily. It’s located right in front of H-Medix Asokoro.
