PLACES TO VISIT THIS WEEKEND. ABUJA (outdoor edition).

The weekend upon us and alot of us are looking for fun places/things to do. Here are some fun things to try this Saturday.

1). Picnic at National Children’s park and zoo: This place is beautiful, quite and safe, you can go with friends or family and set up a picnic. Fee is 400 naira per person.

2). Snake Farm: Conquer your fears by taking a trip to Snake farm. The farm has other animals and playground for kids. There’s also a beautiful sitting area and a restaurant there.

3). Chasing waterfall at Kurudu waterfalls: This is located inside Kurudu Barracks, It’s beautiful and has a great view. the fall itself is difficult to locate, but you can reach out to Kayslay_45.

4).Hugs and mugs pool: Take a dip in Hugsamdmugsabuja pool. It’s very pretty and has beautiful cabanas. Fee is 3000.

5). Hiking: You can go hiking with friends, there are so many hike trails in Abuja, starting with the wonderland twin peaks. Best to go in the morning.

6).BMT Garden; There are several fun spots here like the kids playground, kuik noish, swimming pool, bars and library.

7). Art and Craft market: Shop beautiful art pieces at the art and craft market Jabi. You can window shop and also take lovely pictures 😁.

8). Ushafa; Visit Ushafa crushed rock, that is if you haven’t been there. You can also access Usman Dam from here.

9). Bwari Pottery: Go mould your own clay pots at Bwari Pottery, fee is 1.5k. you can also shop some art pieces here. To visit you have to book ahead. Honestly this place is over hyped and isn’t worth the long drive, but you can check out for yourself.
