AMAZONIA

My Abuja people, there’s a brand new restaurant in town. Amazonia is a restaurant, scratch that….. an EXPERIENCE.

We were at the food tasting to experience the ambiance and food and I must say I was thoroughly mesmerized.

As the name suggests, Amazonia can best be described as a rain forest. The ambiance has really cool elements of forest, from the trees to the entire greenery. There are birds as well as a human gorilla( cool right?).Walk

ing into the restaurant you’d be greeted by happy little chirping birds and the melodious patters of rain, yes I thought it was raining because of the sound effects. The chef took us on a food journey of the 5 major rain forest, from Asia to South America.

The food wasn’t spared of the “foresty” elements. Every dish had greens and textures that represents the rain forest.

I must say this is the first of its kind in Abuja and I’m really pleased. Now I can brag to those Lagos people with very high shoulder pads?.

There’s alot more and I’ll definitely be sharing in my subsequent posts. The restaurant isn’t opened officially until sometime next week.
