STROBRIE:
Strobrie is a bakery and cafe that serves pastries as well as savory dishes. Their carrot cake is especially amazing! I hadn’t visited in a long while but today I had lunch with my favorite foodies Waka_waka_nnenna Abujacitytourist

The BBQ Torzo Sandwich was my absolute favorite! Gosh the beef was so tender, sweet and well seasoned. I loved the bread too! The cream and sauce on the beef were so complimentary! See slide 9 for how juicy the sandwich is, this is definitely not a sandwich one can easily make at home. And this is why I loved it! I had just one part of the sandwich and it was filling.
I also enjoyed the sumo fries and Mayo sauce that came with the Yakitori chicken. The pasta was served al dente and had pieces of tender beef. However it had a too much vinegar for me.
My drink was exceptional! I definitely recommend if you like a drink that has a mix of a sour and sweet taste.
Now for the cakes, I mean this is a bakery after all, I prefered the carrot cake of course and the red velvet cake! The carrot cake was especially good, it’s always a favorite. I loved the spices used and the nuts as well.
AMBIANCE
The space has a refreshing and cozy vibe with all the greenery and plants. I also love the wooden furniture such as the tables and the stools. The plating and how drinks are served is also very nice!
CUSTOMER SERVICE
The attendants are always pleasant and the owner Joanne is very warm and welcoming
The last time I visited Strobrie had WiFi, I didn’t check this time though but this is a very chill place to read or have conversations. Should the wifi still be available, it’ll also be a great place to work. When you visit I recommend that you try the sandwich 😉
