The first thing that caught my attention about this restaurant Blucknabuja was the idea of chicken in waffle cones, quite unique especially in Abuja, don’t you think?

I stopped by this week and here is a breakdown of my experience:

MENU
The menu is very simple and basic, there were drinks and of course chicken and waffles options.

FOOD
We had the 4 Cone Platter at N5,000. This came with two cones of fries and two cones of chicken, one was barbecue chicken and another mayo Chicken. I initially thought the waffles would be strong and crunchy but it was quite soft. I did think the chicken could have been softer though. And perhaps the portions a bit bigger. I also had the Chapman at N1,500 which was alright.

AMBIANCE
The use of space here must be commended. I mean the restaurant is quite small and quaint but I definitely loved the brown and orange decor, very aesthetically pleasing. The kitchen is also open so you will leave here smelling like food.

Blucknabuja is located at No 2 Bangui Street, Wuse II, right by Food City.
