THE WINECAVE LOUNGE:
Thewinecavelounge is a new wine and cocktail bar located on no 1 Kampala Street Wuse 2. This spot is classy and cozy, perfect for unwinding and having drinks after work or on weekends. They surprisingly have great food too! We recently stopped by and had a bottle of wine, cocktails and tasty food of their menu
We had:
Bottle of Wine – N18,000
Maitai – N5,000
Mimosa – N4,500
Wings on – Fire N3,000
Seafood Alfredo Pasta – N7,500
Penne Pasta – N6,500
The Caveman Platter – N15,500
Our top favorite dish was the wings on fire and the Caveman platter. The wings were super juicy, not as spicy as we would have liked but we were told this can be requested. The caveman platter was a hit and everything on the platter paired so well together. We especially loved the grilled fish and chicken. And the sauce that came with this platter, absolutely amazing! It was the perfect pairing with everything on the platter. Food could come out faster. The drinks paired so well with the food. Absolutely loved the naming of items in the menu, so creative.
Overall, we had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave. The longer we stayed the dimmer and cozier the atmosphere got. They’ll definitely be needing more space soon. The staff were lovely, there was just something pleasant about them. We also met the owner, she was a lovely host.
