Ugwu Alfred, Enugu State
Ugwu Alfred (Alfred Hill) also know as Alfred Camp is a small residential hilltop settlement in Enugu. It is located in Enugu north local government area of Enugu state. Ugwu Alfred or “Alfred’s Camp”, named After Alfred Inoma, a leader of indigenous labourers from Onitsha. Ugwu Alfred was first inhabited by Alfred Inoma and his labourers who worked on various coal mine sites in Enugu.
Ugwu Alfred which is located on the hill top off old UNTH Ogbete Enugu is mainly inhabited by low income earners with little or no Government presence.
