Zzone Foods, Abuja Review
ZZONE FOODS:
There’s a new spot in town! It’s Zzonefoods, a fast food spot coming all the way from Benin to Gwarinpa Abuja! We stopped by the other day to check it out!
Food:
Shawarma loaded N2,000
Waffles and Chicken N3,000
Club Sandwich N3,500
ZZone Special Noodles N2,500
Watermelon smoothie N2,000
Given that shawarma is part of their name, we made sure to try this when we stopped by! The shawarma was served with two sausages and plenty cream, if you love your shawarma creamy, then this is definitely for you! I personally would have like a kick of pepper (hey personal preference).
We also tried other options on their menu, the waffles and the sandwich, these were definite favorites. The waffles were actually quite amazing, very fluffy, this took us by surprise. We would have liked the chicken to be moist and also diced.
Now the sandwich was rich and filling! Overstuffed with goodies, it even had cheese! The components of the sandwich were literally overflowing in the bread. We loved that the bread was crunchy and toasted with butter. We definitely plan on going back for more.
The noodles were also quite nice, it had lots of veggies and chunks of meat. This is best had hot, so we recommend that you ask them to bring this meal last if you’re ordering a lot. Food could come out faster.
We finished off our food with watermelon juice, personally I’m usually not a fan of watermelon juice as it can be quite tasteless but this one was different! It was refreshingly good! It was sorta thick and it had ginger.
The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. We liked the outdoor spot for dinning, the seats were more comfortable while the indoor space was very fitting for lounging around. The spot seems to come alive in the evenings.
They’re menu is also very affordable
