Lesotho’s Maletsunyane Waterfall, “Africa and Nature”

Lesotho, a high-altitude, landlocked kingdom encircled by South Africa, is crisscrossed by a network of rivers and mountain ranges including the 3,482m-high peak of Thabana Ntlenyana. Lesotho is blessed with so many tourist attractions, the countries landscape is simply breathtaking. Among the numerous tourist attractions in lesotho is the maletsunyane waterfall also known as Semonkong Fall. Maletsunyane Fall is said to be the highest single drop in southern Africa and offers some spectacular unspoilt scenery. The waterfall is easily accessible from Semonkong by a five-kilometre walk along the Maletsunyane River, where one will have the opportunity of witnessing the river cascade 204meters into a tranquil swimmable pool below.
