Pub 69, Gwarinpa Abuja

PUB 69 (Pub69ng ).

Where my Pub lovers at?? There’s a very beautiful new lounge in town…. Pub69ng located in Gwarinpa.

First of all this Pub/resto is a MURAL Haven. Walking into the space I was greeted by some of our famous African heroes painted on their walls. The space has 3 different sitting areas, The indoor which is really “loungy’ , the backyard ( very colorful and airy) and the outdoor where they have the barbecue stand.

Do not let the name fool you, this pub also doubles as a restaurant, it’s opened during the day and they serve proper Nigerian and Continental meals at good prices.

We had!

1).Oriental Rice

2).Fried rice; very delicious and rich.

3).Chicken wings; this was my favorite and definitely a must order, the sauce it comes with is very tasty.

4).Spring rolls

5).Poundo Yam and Egusi; I hardly eat swallow outside but I must say the Egusi was nice with lots of obstructions. The Ponmo inside was really succulent.

It was altogether a great experience, I’ll only suggest they work a little bit on their wait time, I understand that evenings are their best times.

Today is Friday so don’t say I didn’t show you TGIF way ?. You should definitely check them out, their playlist is on point and their grilled fish is also very tasty
