Ibadan is the largest city in Nigeria by geographical size and third most populated state in Nigeria. Ibadan has a very rich cultural heritage and interesting history. - Visit the Bower Memorial Tower:
The tower is about 60 feet high and 11 feet square, with two entrances and a spiral staircase that leads to the top of the tower. This tower is located on the smmit of Oke-Are, the highest hill in Ibadan, and you can get a great view of Ibadan City from the tower. The Bower Tower was built by the British Government to administer Ibadan city between 1893 and 1897.

Agodi gardens is a tourist attraction in the city of Ibadan, Also called Agodi Botanical Gardens, Agodi Gardens, Ibadan, the site is a serene environment. It is usually patronized by families during festive periods and weekends. It has other facilities including a swimming pool.

This is a colorful event to commemorate the founding of Ibadan land and show gratitude to the founders. The festival, which means the ‘Hills of Ibadan’, celebrates how founders, originally settled on the hills of Ibadan and later came down to found the Ibadan town itself at the foot of the hills. The festival, which brings together indigenous people of Ibadan from far and near, holds on the third Thursday of March of every year. Highlights of the festival include cultural shows, stage plays, beauty pageants and competitions.
