My friends and I decided to have lunch at Breeze.abuja
We ordered Special fried rice, Peppered wings, Spaghetti Alfredo and Penne Arabiata.
We had mixed feeling about our food.
My friend Fatima Hairgician__ and I argued over who would have the special friend rice because of the picture we saw online (we also confirmed from the waiter) I was glad I changed my order to penne arabiata not because it was great but it came in a pineapple and I don’t like pineapples at all ? it wasn’t indicated in the menu that the special friend rice comes in a pineapple.
It was a classic case of what I ordered vs what I got because it looked nothing like what we saw on IG especially the colour of the rice. I think they need to include it in the menu so people know what to expect. I didn’t enjoy it but Fatima did. She loved the prawns too.
I settled for the penne arabiata. The arabiata seemed like it was made with more of tomato paste than fresh tomatoes because it was ‘slapping’. It didn’t really have that arabiata feel or taste. It wasn’t the best I’ve had. @folabulous also had a problem with her spaghetti Alfredo, she couldn’t eat the chicken.
Like I said in my last review I feel we caught them on a bad day but I also think it’s too early considering it’s a new restaurant.
The price is fair, it’s relatively affordable so I commend them for that ??
Generally, the experience here was quite underwhelming and I don’t think I’ll be visiting again.
