I randomly stumbled on Mambaahcafe sometime last week while running an errand at Maitama Amusement Park. As I walked into this spot, the whole time I kept thinking, wow so a place like this exists here!
You see I had been to the Thecanspark before, which is where this cafe is located, and the last time I visited, this place did not look like this at all!
The ambiance of this cafe is just so soothing! It’s the abundance of natural light, the coziness of the bamboo, the raffia, the wooden furniture and the incorporation of the printed fabrics! The ambiance of this place is just so welcoming.
Given that I was just passing through, I didn’t try the food but I glanced through the menu and it is affordable! Mambaahcafe is a cafe/ restaurant, I recall seeing options like tea, coffee, pancakes and I believe jollof rice too. Most dishes were priced at about N2,000 – N3,000 and even way less.
I happened to meet the owners on this day, and was told that they plan on providing free WiFi. Apparently this spot is open till as late as 12am and let me tell you the ambiance at night is especially stunning, once all the lights come on. I do hope that the environment is mosquito-proof. I hope to stop by soon to confirm.
Mambaahcafe is located at the Cans which is at the front of Maitama Amusement Park on Ibrahim Babangida Way. I’d love to know what you think when you do check it out.
