The Flowershop Cafe, Lagos

Flowershop Cafe is located on Victoria Island. As its name implies, it’s mainly dedicated to selling beautiful flowers but it has a small space for guests that want to grab coffee or munchies. The fresh flowers give the ambiance a natural look and make it serene.

Although I didn’t enjoy the serenity as I would have preferred. I visited during their peak hours and it was crowded that I couldn’t take enough pictures of the ambiance.

Ideal for brunch and a few friends hangouts, won’t recommend it for business meetings as it is mostly crowded because of its small space.

I love their car parking, they use a valet parking system at no extra cost and it works. It’s a very lovely idea because of how small their car park space is; just give them your car keys in return for a tag and go enjoy your meal😌.

Their menu is attractive and familiar, you could easily place your order without looking at the menu for long (I personally dislike it when restaurants use odd names for something simple).

The meals are quite pricey definitely because of the location but they are worth it anyway, yummy and tasteful and also well presented but I didn’t like my Iced latte, it was extremely bitter.

I almost forgot to mention how heavily taxed the meals are. I was charged additional 17.5% (VAT 7.5%, service charge 5%, Lagos state Tax 5%) on my meals that were close to an additional 6k even after how pricey the meals were.
