So I’ve been feeling low for a while now and one of the things that usually get me out of my phunk is Art. Art is very therapeutic for me.
Since I moved to Abuja last year and I started really blogging about places this year, this is one place that has been on my list of places to visit.
If you’re a lover of African art this is definitely a good spot for you. JABI Arts & Crafts market is the perfect place to buy beautiful artworks and hand crafted pieces on Abuja.
You can shop for items like bags, paintings, all kinds of mats and baskets, wooden and sculpted art work, precious stones, beads, clothes, leather bags, cushions etc
The fact that these are hand made blew my mind. The level of craftsmanship here is amazing. It’s also BUDGET friendly but be prepared to go back and forth with them before they finally agree on your price. If you’re good at bargaining, you’ll get awesome deals.
The place is also very clean as they are well spaced out so you can enjoy lots of fresh air as you move around. It’s really a nice place to spend time and buy quality art.
