Yes my caption is exactly how I felt after eating the Ayamase Pasta from @newtonsrestaurantandbar this is one meal that left me confused as to if I actually liked it or not.
On the menu it says ‘Spicy Beef Ayamase Pasta’ I’m not sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t exactly this. It seemed like they just mixed spaghetti in ayamase sauce and tossed it. It came with 6 chunky beefs (if you love plenty meat this is for you) but for a meal that says ‘Spicy Beef’ the beef wasn’t well seasoned in my opinion, it tasted very bare and it was not tender at all.
I like the idea of the meal cos I love ayamase and that was why I decided to give it a try but I’m not quite sure it was well executed. I feel there is something lacking that I can’t exactly point out. It doesn’t have that zing!
In terms of portion, I ate this food 3 times! The portion is really large, Newton’s Restaurant is really generous with their portions and I’ll be surprised if anyone finishes this at once lol.

The service was really good, I was pleasantly surprised. The food came really fast. There was a nice lady who asked for feedback from me and she took notes. I like that they do this for customers that come in, it shows they want to improve on their service.
I absolutely loved their take out bag and how neatly packaged it is. They attach a small sized menu to your take out bag. Great concept 👍🏽
I don’t know if anyone has tried this or would be interested in trying this, let me know what you think
